We are the Denver Lodovics.
Joseph (Jody) James Lodovic, IV, son of III (Jim), was raised in
San Antonio Texas. After one year at Mac Arthur High School, IV, he
moved to Dallas and completed his high school years at Richardson.
While at Richardson High, Jody met
his bride to be, Allison Clyde. Jody attended Oklahoma State
University, and graduated in May of 1983. Allison attended Oklahoma
University. After graduating in May 1983, Allison and Jody were
married in Dallas, TX on June 4, 1983.
On September 1, 1988, Jody and Allison experienced the
birth of their first born, Amber Lodovic, in Dallas, TX. Soon
thereafter, Jody's company, MediaNews Group, decided to move there offices
to Houston, TX. So, the now Houston Lodovic's built a house in the
Hearthstone Country Club community. It was then that Jody took up
golf. To this day, he has found no cure for the addiction. On
January 11, 1992, Allison and Jody experienced the birth of their second
born, Joseph James Lodovic, V. How's that for tradition. They
decided to call him James or #5 for short.
In the fall of 1994, the Lodovic's started planning the
construction of their third home. Only this time, it was in Denver,
CO. You see, Jody's company decided to once again move its corporate
headquarters. Construction began in January 1995, and the Houston
Lodovic's officially became the Denver Lodovic's in September 1995. In
March of 1997, after being bit by the ski bug, the Denver Lodovic's bought a
mountain home near Winter Park, CO. About the same time, Jody started
another new hobby - collecting fine red wine. With their basement now
finished, complete with a wine cellar, Jody had to complete his red wine
collection. By the end of 2000, the cellar was full. Jody enjoys
sharing his wine with friends and family.
At the Lodovic home in Denver, you can enjoy fine red
wine, catch a movie in the theater, play a game of pool or pinball, and get
in a good workout in the exercise room. If you get tired of the city,
you can take a breathtaking 1:50 minute ride up to the Lodovic mountain
lodge. There, you will have 12 acres of wooded property to hike or
snow shoe on. If you are as lazy as Jody, maybe you would rather do
your exploring on the four wheeler. Skiing in Winter Park is a short
drive away. In the summer, Grand Lake is a short drive away. In
addition, summer and fall brings fly fishing on the Colorado River, only 15
minutes from the Lodovic lodge. So, why not plan your trip today?
